Still looking for something to do today to celebrate the end of summer? Labor Day is a great chance to get in those last to-dos on your summer list. Plus, you can wear those white shorts one more time! So, have you:
Been to the zoo? You can’t go wrong by squeezing in a visit to the Denver Zoo. With more than 600 species and 4,000 specimens, the zoo is guaranteed to please kids and adults. So what are you waiting for? Get in touch with nature and see some animals up close and personal.
Attended a BBQ? If you haven’t been to a barbeque yet this summer, don’t miss out! Call your friends and host them at your house. Serve water alongside your other beverages so people can decrease their chance of cavities and dehydration. Remember that healthy fruits and veggies are the perfect complement to any BBQ dish.
Been to the Botanic Gardens? It’s an exciting time at the Denver Botanic Gardens, as the Chihuly glass exhibit is running now through November. The exhibition is the Rocky Mountain region’s first major outdoor exhibition of artwork by artist Dale Chihuly. His breathtaking glass sculptures feature bright colors and drama — a perfect addition to the lush gardens.
No matter what you choose to do to celebrate Labor Day, make sure you keep tabs on your dental health! Pack some sugar-free gum and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. Happy Labor Day!
