As Thanksgiving approaches, I always wonder if people think about what they are thankful this holiday season. My family has this tradition of saying what we are thankful for before Thanksgiving dinner. We go around the table and one by one share our gratitude with the whole family. I sit for days before Thanksgiving making my list and revising it over and over to make sure I don’t forget anything. It is a good reminder of the great things the year has brought and just how lucky we are to be alive.
I brought this tradition to work this year and asked Delta Dental of Colorado employees what makes them thankful. Here are the responses I received from our staff.
I’m thankful that I have MORE than I need, in almost every area of my life. I’m not “just getting or scraping by.” God has been faithful in providing my “daily bread” and over that as well.- Debbie Keohan
