Oral health is a window into individual and community well-being. At Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation (DDCOF), we’re committed to partnering with communities so more people have healthier smiles.
Earlier this year we announced our new mission: to elevate the well-being of all Coloradans by advancing oral health equity.
Our efforts to improve oral health are focused across the lifespan – from pregnant women and children to adults and seniors.
Everyone deserves the chance to have a healthy smile. Working with communities, we can strengthen opportunities for people that have historically been overlooked. We are improving access to comprehensive oral health care, promoting systems and support services that prevent tooth decay, and emphasizing the vital connection of oral health to systemic health.
We’ve released DDCOF’s first open grant-making opportunity. We are now seeking requests for applications (RFA) from Colorado nonprofit organizations interested in implementing strategies/projects to improve oral health equity in their communities.
Communities know their communities best. Nonprofits working directly with communities understand the pulse of community need. We welcome proposals from partners that will draw our attention to different approaches to address and achieve oral health equity. Apply today!
