MIRELLA CHAVEZ
Mirella serves as the community benefit coordinator for Delta Dental of Colorado but is best known for her role as the Tooth Fairy. She is very knowledgeable about oral health especially, children’s oral health. As a bilingual speaker, she is valuable to get our message of the importance of oral health out to the general public.
She devotes her spare time to her three children doing all sorts of stuff like visiting the Manitou Incline, eating tacos, petting puppies, and volunteer work. Mirella is currently working towards her Bachelors of Science degree in healthcare management at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
HELEN DREXLER
Helen Drexler currently serves as president and CEO of Delta Dental of Colorado. Prior to this position, Helen served as regional vice president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where she worked in a variety of leadership roles for 30 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of New Mexico and certification by Senn Delaney as a cultural transformation facilitator. Helen recently served on the Women’s Leadership Council for United Way of Greater Atlanta. She also served as chair of the board of directors of Florence Crittenton Services.
AMY MAILLET
Amy Maillet creates communications and design content for Delta Dental of Colorado’s community benefit group and the foundation. She has more than 15 years of experience ranging from trade publishing to brand development. Amy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Arizona.
Outside the office, she practices yoga, climbs Colorado fourteeners, and balances life on a SUP. Most days, she can be found trying to keep up with her husband, two girls and a german short-haired pointer.
